Thank you for letting me go to the opera show. I like it a lot, a black man coming from the streets loved your opera show. I listen to rap, but when I hear opera it's cool because humans have such a loud voice, and it was something new for me.

Student Shows
In-theatre student performances of full productions

GGO has partnered with area school districts to bring children from disadvantaged schools to student performances. From 1998-2003, through a contribution from The Mayor of San Francisco's Every Child Can Learn Foundation GGO has been able to underwrite the attendance of 300 San Francisco public school children each year. GGO has made the commitment to hold at least one student performance of each of our public productions.

Tickets to Performances

Through public and private sponsorships, GGO has been able to provide tickets for in-need families and children to attend our public performances free of charge. GGO has developed relationships with numerous community-based organizations that serve this population, including:
