Golden Gate Opera - Marin County Opera

Costume Designer has overseen the costumes at Golden Gate Opera since 2001. Her previous experience includes creating costumes for Montserrat Caballe and Luciano Pavarotti at San Francisco Opera, and many of her creative designs were the mainstays for the early Victoria's Secret catalogues. She worked briefly for Levi-Strauss before landing at the San Francisco Opera in the costume department in the early 1980s. Her company, Tracy Bell Designs, has flourished, first in Sausalito and now Novato, for the past 29 years. She designs and creates wedding gowns, accessories and costumes, and promotes and coordinates events.

Her creative visions have dressed many well-known celebrities and hundreds of locals. She translates ideas from her constant travels to her creations and continues to freelance design and consult for many national companies. Ms. Redig has designed, created and overseen costumes for Golden Gate Opera's Hansel and Gretel (2001-2004), I Pagliacci, Carmen, Gianni Schicchi, The Telephone, and Suor Angelica, Gala Concert "Opera's Greatest Hits", Opera Café at The Belrose Theatre and assisted at Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci in 2008.
